Twas the 20th of April and all thru the pad
We were searching for some papers…We need them real bad
My buddy’s got the munchies…My eyes they are all red
4:21…AM…Is when we’ll finally go to bed
We have to see both 4:20’s…You know daylight and dark
For only once a year comes this occasion to spark
Then from the back of the house we heard a right funky ‘ol noise
“Dude that sounds like the freakin Beastie Boys”
We put down or pipes and cruised down the hall
“Hey man..Who’s there” my buddy did call
We flung opened the door and there stood a man
With a big fluffy sack, a lighter and a Coke can
“Fellas good to see ya…Y’all got any Zig Zag’s
Our eyes bulged as we noticed the sweet leaf in his bag
“We’ve been lookin all over…We can’t find our hemp skins”
“That’s okay” he said “I can still get high with some friends”
He reached in his jacket…He seemed to pull-up for days
A bong…4 foot and clouded with haze
Now people believe me…It was a sight to see
It was a color changer with decorations, one said THC
He laughed at our expressions…Dark and blank like coal
“Can someone grab my lighter and fire up this fat bowl”
“It’s 4:19 we haven’t got long”
“We must all take a pull, a hit from my bong”
He drew up a cloud so milky and thick
We knew in a moment he would be real sick
He sucked it right down…Exhaled on a moth
He did not flinch, not even a cough
He turned and looked…His eyes glazed, squinted and funny
We knew in an instant…It must be 4:20
Then we heard him exclaim…This mushroom cloud maker
“If you hit a bong on 4/20…It must be a Jerome Baker”
